Grow Your Garden, Grow Your Community

Grow Community.

“This time last year…”

Have you found yourself saying that this week? While the last year has been full of indescribable loss, in that change has also been growth. This time last year we were on target to continue gardening and plant-based cooking workshops at libraries in Philadelphia and Darby, PA through the summer, growing a community who garden in their homes and within their communities to heal, nourish, and learn (you know, our Mission). When the graveness of the pandemic and its restrictions hit us, we, like many of you had choices to make about how we were going to move forward within this new reality. We could have lay dormant for the year, yet instead we grew. Creating online programs allowed us to expand our organization in ways we had not planned and for the growth we are thankful.

As the temperatures begin to rise and Spring welcomes us, we look forward to entering a new garden season with you. Plan your gardens. Purchase new plants. Plant your seeds. Start fresh and keep connected as you grow community through your gardens.
